Our story begins with the majestic oak trees that grace the hills surrounding our workshop. We work mainly with sustainably sourced oak that has naturally fallen or been a casualty felled by a storm. It's a labor of love, and sometimes the oak breaks during its fall but even these "imperfect" pieces inspire us.
The oak we collect needs to season for at least two years before we can work with it turning it into a luxurious haven for your feline friend.
Each oak limb boasts unique, natural formations, bringing a touch of the outdoors right into your home, but with a touch of sophistication.

Once the oak is seasoned, we treat it for insects and then hand-sand it to a smooth, beautiful finish. Power sanders simply can't reach all the intricate nooks and crannies of these natural wonders, so this step requires dedicated effort.
Here's where Di shines! She's just as comfortable wielding power tools as Mark, and both of us find true joy in the creation process within our workshop.
