About Us
We are a small independent online business based in rural Devon and have been makers of bespoke solid oak cat trees and cat scratchers since 2017.
Having searched and failed to find any feline furniture we would want in our own home that would not be an eyesore but look elegant and well crafted, we resorted to making them ourselves. We are now proud makers and producers of cat trees and cat scratchers that are sustainable ~ original ~ durable ~ authentic and beautiful.

Di Gallant
Introducing the team behind the new and innovative cat furniture, Sophisticated Scratch:
We are a passionate team with decades of experience in the pet industry. Di grew up in a pet shop and comes from careers in racing horses, running a pub, and being an Emergency Care Assistant for the NHS.
Now along with her husband Mark they are dedicated to providing the best in cat furniture not only for your cat but for your home too.
Mark Gallant
Mark is Di's husband, who brings a wealth of experience from both Canada and the UK.
With a history of working in farming, house building, industrial carpet laying and being a publican with Di, Mark has the knowledge and skills to ensure our cat furniture is of the highest quality.
